Dear Molly and Maddy,

As you grow older, times speeds up. It is unfathomable to me that I will be celebrating my 10 year high school reunion next year. It still feels like yesterday I was walking down the school hallways in my Varsity jacket. Then, when you become a mother, times flies by even quicker. I cannot believe my newborn babies will be turning three in just a few weeks. I decided to create a journal, so to speak, of the seemingly non-important everyday stuff; what we did today, things you learned, people we saw. All these things aren’t usually jotted down; they aren’t the big things in life. But one thing I have learned is this:

Enjoy the little things in life. For some day, you will realize they were the big things.

I’ve created this journal of all the little things, so one day you can look back on them and see what a big, wonderful time we had together. I am so lucky to be your mom and I want to remember every moment of it.
