Hi loves!

Next week you will be going to vacation bible school! It will be the first time that I drop you off somewhere (other than family’s houses) and LEAVE! All 3 of us are pretty nervous!!  You girls will be starting preschool in the fall and you both are unsure about the idea of me not being there. I thought a few days of vacation bible school would be a good practice! So, I found out that St. Paul’s offers a program for 3 year olds. This is where Gaga, Jojo and Uncle Doug went to school and I went to vacation bible school there when I was little too! I have been trying to pump you up about it all week!

You still aren’t quite convinced you want to do this (even with bribes of new shoes and backpacks) so I thought we would check it out today! This morning, we drove over there and went inside so you could see what it looks like. One of the teachers came out and chatted with us. She told us about all the cool things you would do and she happened to be a twin too! When she came over to talk to us, Maddy, you grabbed onto me so tight, covered your face and almost began crying. And that is when the cutest thing ever happened. Molly, you told her, “it’s okay Maddy. Me be here with you.”

My heart melted. And then we talked about how lucky you guys are to have a sister, and that not everyone gets to go to school with their sister, and how if one of you gets nervous or scared you can just give your sister a big hug and kiss. And then you practiced by giving each other a hundred hugs and kisses! You guys are seriously the best!

 

 

After checking out the school, we hung out at Nana’s for awhile. Then, Lauren took you to Gaga’s while I went to a hair appointment. Gaga dropped you off just in time for a yummy dinner and bike ride around the sub! You girls are becoming AWESOME bike riders! Maddy, you are crazy fast and make it all the way around. Molly, you stop every 5 seconds to “put gas in your bike” and seem to tire out 3/4 of the way through. It’s a long ways though, so I don’t blame you. I am so proud of you both and can’t believe you can ride your own bikes so good!
